Family Dive Adventures Announces 2012 Kids Sea Camp Schedule.

(Dive Travel Business - January 28, 2012) -- Kids Sea Camp has announced its Family Dive Adventure destinations for 2012: The list includes eight family-friendly dive holidays in Yap, Palau, Costa Rica, Grand Cayman, Galapagos, Bonaire, Utila and St. Vincent.

Kids Sea Camp gets kids excited about the ocean when they are young. Established by Dive Travel Pro Margo Peyton in 2001, the objective of Kids Sea Camp is to promote an awareness of marine related issues, with a strong focus on conservation. During Kids Sea Camp, students enjoy multiple activities and the enthusiasm of a staff dedicated to teaching new and fun things about the oceans with both education in a classroom environment as well as hands-on programs that teach age appropriate curriculum.

Utila, Bay Islands Honduras at the Laguna Beach Resort, and Utila Aggressor (July 28 - Aug 4) Is sold out.  The details for a Kids Sea Camp over the US Thanksgiving in November 2012 at the Buccanment Bay Resort on St. Vincent are still being worked out.

Each year hundreds of kids become PADI certified divers with Kids Sea Camp with a total of 5,100+ PADI certifications to date. All Kids Sea Camp dive programs are PADI programs.  For kids age 5-7 there is SASY (snorkeling); kids age 8+ there is Seal Team (the first stage of scuba diving, experienced in a enclosed shallow environment); and for kids age 10-14 there is Jr. Open Water certifiecation (scuba diving training designed for kids 10 and up) and kids age 15 and up there is Open Water certification, along with a host of specialties offered for kids that are certified divers age 10-17.
