Dive Provo Celebrates 20th Anniversary

(Dive Travel Business News - April 25, 2010) -- Dive Provo celebrates twenty years of diving in the Turks & Caicos islands in 2010.  To mark this milestone, owners Clare and Alan Jardine are offering several special promotions including the chance to win a lifetime of diving during their Anniversary Week June 5 - 12, 2010.

During their anniversary week, the Dive Provo founders will award a lucky guest a lifetime of diving. The winner will receive one six-day dive package per year, every year, for as long as they continue to dive.

Also during that week, the first divers who sign up for the three tank boat dive will receive the upgrade from a two tank dive for free.

The first 20 divers to make a 7-night package with Dive Provo staying at Comfort Suites for the Anniversary Week will get to dive at 1990 prices.  The dive  package stay at Comfort Suites for the Anniversary week will pay only $599 per person - a savings of $400 per diver. The package rate is based on double occupancy accommodations in a junior suite and includes a $50 per room beverage credit, hotel taxes, energy surcharge and gratuities, continental breakfast, 2-tank am dive daily and daily transfers to and from dive docks.  (Due to the significant discounting, commission can not be paid on this special package, and the package must be booked with Dive Provo Reservations. The reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking). 

Special activities are planned for Dive Provo's Anniversary Week.

Learn About Lionfish :  Dive Provo will provide Anniversary week guests with a “Learn Your “Lions!” seminar that provides an educational overview of the impact these voracious non-endemic predators can have on the reefs as well as training on how to safely capture the fish. Fishing tournaments will be held daily. 

Anniversary Barbeque Bash: The Dive Provo team will host an Anniversary Bash and Beach Barbeque on Friday, June 11th where grilled Lionfish will be served up fresh. Door prizes and awards donated by Dive Provo, Aqualung, Henderson, Deep See and Innovative Scuba will be raffled, and one lucky Grand Prize winner will receive free diving for life.
