Dive Comes to Surf Expo

Dive Comes to Surf Expo this fall in Orlando
Wednesday, March 9, 2011

(Dive Travel Business News - March 9, 2011) -- Surf Expo will open its doors on September 8th for three days of watersports equipment and fashion apparel with 3,500 brands represented. Surf Expo offers several categories of apparel and hardgoods for the resort and active lifestyle markets, including surf and skate apparel, imprinted sportswear, swimwear, boutique, souvenir, resortwear and hardgoods for surf, dive, skate, wake, wind, and kite.

Snorkeling and Dive companies have been exhibiting at Surf Expo for a number of years now. This year Surf Expo will include exhibitors from the Recreational Dive Market. Featured categories within Dive will include Swim, Snorkeling, Freediving and Spearfishing (Blue Water Hunting).

This is a trade only event. Approximately 6,000 qualified Retail Buyers are expected to be in attendance representing 2,500 retail sporting goods stores. Don't miss out on an opportunity to see this watersports phenomena in person. Tickets are FREE for qualified Retail Buyers.

The Surf Expo has the right ingredients for a profitable and successful buying show. To start with, the Surf Expo Staff is very serious about building a show that is meant to be a strong buying show. Seminars are kept to a minimum and the show priority is to have buyers spend maximum time on the exhibit floor. Exhibitors are given a serious professional venue that is also a lot of fun to attend.  Qualified Retail Buyers are encouraged to attend and admission is FREE.

The timing of the September Show is perfect for the introduction of scuba diving equipment. Companies can save thousands of dollars reaching the 314 dive stores in the State of Florida alone. That's 17% of all dive stores in the country! Sales Reps are normally on the road in September introducing the next year's line anyway. Surf Expo does an enormous amount of pre-show marketing and advertising to attract the best qualified retail buyers in the retail watersports industry. There is more time for follow-up after a September show and better potential for Christmas sales. If you are a dive retailer or supplier and haven't been to a Surf Expo before, you owe it to yourself to attend this January or in September.
